Last weekend, we had a great time with some of our dear friends at Conners Amaize-ing Acres. When I lived in NJ, the fall was definitely one of my favorite seasons. The weather, the beautiful leaves changing, the holidays. We used to visit pumpkin patches (that were huge, btw, not like the Jax ones that are teeny) and go on hay rides. I didn't think Jax had anything like that. Then, my friend K mentioned their tradition to visit the corn maze, which has pumpkins, hay rides, a corn maze (literally), homemade goodies like ice cream, a petting zoo, and more.

We had a great time! The weather was too hot, which really doesn't put one in the fall mood, but the experience was a fun one that reminded me of my childhood a little. Though speaking of childhood, I definitely think Conners is a little more fun for kiddos or those with kiddos (toddler age and up). It's one of those places that I could visit every few years as an adult, as it's definitely more child-oriented. Regardless though, I had so much fun spending time with our sweet friends at this 'fall festival.' Thanks, K, for opening my eyes to this Amaize-ingness!!!
